Samedi rings are sized in UK letters. Here is how to measure your finger, and how to read a ring you already wear.
Our rings run from M to Z. Not every ring is made in every size. The sizes you can buy are the ones shown on the ring's own page.
Measure your finger
Two minutes with a strip of paper. Do it when your hands are warm.
Cut a strip
Cut a strip of paper about 6mm wide. A piece of string works too.
Wrap the finger
Wrap it round the base of the finger, snug but not tight. Check it still slides back over the knuckle.
Mark and measure
Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat on a ruler and read the length in millimetres. That is your inside circumference.
Or measure a ring you already wear
Quicker, and usually more accurate. Pick a ring that fits the same finger.
Pick the right ring
Use one that fits the finger you are buying for. A ring from another finger will send you a size or two out.
Measure across the inside
Lay it on a ruler and measure straight through the middle, inside edge to inside edge, in millimetres.
Read the table
That is the inside diameter. Find the closest row in the table below.
The sizes
Match your measurement to the closest row. If you land between two, take the larger one.

US numbers are the closest match, not an exact one. The two systems do not line up, so go by the millimetres.
Before you choose

Measure warm
Fingers shrink in the cold and swell in the heat. Measure at the end of the day, indoors, when your hands are warm. A cold reading will give you a ring you cannot wear in summer.

Measure the right finger
Left and right are rarely the same, and no two fingers match. Measure the exact finger the ring will live on.

Wide bands sit tighter
A wide band covers more of the finger and feels snugger than a thin one at the same size. On a wide ring, go up one size.

Between sizes, go up
A ring that is a shade loose still gets worn. One that will not pass the knuckle never does.
If the size is wrong, exchange it. You have 14 days from delivery. Tell us the size you need, we email you a prepaid tracked label, and UK exchanges are free. The ring has to come back unworn and in its box.
